  • Rule checks with the statute for every finding: vague items, executive sessions, new business, videoconference sites, posting deadlines
  • AI review for plain language, missing details and typos
  • Download a clean Word agenda with the posting certificate filled in
  • Private to your public body. Our newsroom cannot see your drafts

When must the agenda be posted?

The Open Government Pledge

Public bodies that promise to do it right

  1. Post every agenda in plain language, early, where people can find it.
  2. Use executive session only when the law allows, and say exactly why.
  3. Welcome public comment under fair rules applied the same way to everyone.
  4. Never stop anyone from recording a public meeting.
  5. Answer records requests promptly, without fees meant to discourage them.
  6. Train every new member on the Open Meeting Act within 90 days.

Public bodies sign the pledge from their Agenda Desk account.

Our promise to public bodies

Guerrilla News is an accountability newsroom. We also want local government to work. These tools are free because good meetings and safe stops are good for everyone.

Your Agenda Desk drafts are yours. They are private to your public body. Our reporters and editors have no access to them, and we do not use them for reporting. An agenda becomes news the same way it always has: when you post it.

This is education, not legal advice. Our checks and courses cite Oklahoma law as of October 2026. Your attorney has the final word on your agenda and your policies.
