Deserted cities across the world as Covid-19 reality sets in

Scenes from all over the world began emerging this week, as local and federal governments go into ‘lockdown’ over Covid-19 fears. | BBC

While some cities have voluntarily decided to self quarantine and practice social distancing, others have declared emergencies and are ordering such.

Millions of American’s are under such orders currently from cities like Los Angeles which has ordered 40 million to hunker down during COVID-19 outbreaks.

“Maginhawa Street in Quezon City, which is usually bustling with people on a Sunday night, looked deserted on the first night of implementation of quarantine.”
